We are looking for an experienced logistics professional to join our team as an Operational Care and Logistics Manager. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence and lead a team of professionals in delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for leading our Operational Care Team, driving strategic direction and optimization, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead collaboration between customer care locations, sales, systems, and processes to deliver exceptional customer experiences, supporting the development of new and existing customer targets.
  • To ensure supplier relationships are created and proactively managed to meet service level agreements and Global Partnership Rules.
  • To develop and maintain senior-level relationships with sea logistics carriers.
  • To manage interfaces and the exchange of information and knowledge across the organization, driving process improvement and automation.
  • To contribute as a process owner to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean operations, focusing on cost effectiveness and productivity.
  • To optimize proceedings to ensure the development of sea logistics operational KPIs.
  • To ensure timely and accurate management of invoicing, payables, and FSL management.
  • To take on the responsibilities of the national/cluster dangerous goods coordinator.
  • To drive process improvement, automation, and productivity in operation, and timely and accurate management of all RC and related activities.
  • To deliver a state-of-the-art customer experience through adherence to market standards and shipment management, ensuring high-quality operation KPIs and customer reporting.
  • To manage allocation and strictly adhere to compliance and P/L responsibility.
Your Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of experience in sea logistics or a related field, with a proven track record in operational management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and a strong understanding of sea freight operations.
  • Leadership: Proven team management skills and strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Customer Service: Excellent skills in handling complex customer interactions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data for operational efficiency.
  • Passion and Toughness: Passionate, strong, and capable of managing people effectively.
