This role involves underwriting and analysing new and existing life business, ensuring alignment with delegated authority levels and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake complex underwriting assignments within delegated authority limits.
- Provide expert underwriting support and guidance to customers and distributors, fostering outstanding customer experiences.
- Nurture internal and external distributor relationships through effective evidence collection, informed decision-making, and transparent rating explanations.
- Manage queries and referrals within predetermined authority parameters, assessing exposure and risk to uphold underwriting standards.
- Collaborate in the development and enhancement of technical underwriting standards, controls, practices, and procedures to optimise business performance.
- Pioneer new or improved propositions, procedures, and philosophies to accurately price associated risks.
- Recognise training opportunities for personal and professional growth, supporting training initiatives as needed.
