We are currently seeking a highly skilled Subsea Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a Subsea Engineer, you will be responsible for providing structural and piping engineering solutions as part of our subsea engineering team, in accordance with subsea standards, procedures, processes, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform engineering assessments of subsea structures, including technical report writing, weight take-off, and cost estimation.
  2. Design subsea structures with piping assemblies, including PLEM, manifold, PLET, FLET, riser base, and crossing support structures.
  3. Develop technical project documentation, including structural, piping, and crossing design reports.
  4. Prepare material take-off (MTO) and provide support on cost estimation.
  5. Review and respond to client comments.
  6. Review engineering drawings to ensure alignment with structure design and analysis.
  7. Assist in procurement and technical bid evaluation activities for long-lead equipment and components.
  8. Manage and meet on-time delivery commitments.
  9. Interface with internal and external multidisciplines for input and design alignment.
  10. Support internal project studies as required.
Requirements
  1. Recognized engineering degree or equivalent (Master's degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or Naval Architecture).
  2. 2-5 years of related working experience.
  3. Good understanding of engineering principles.
  4. Good subsea engineering design experience (structural and piping highly preferred).
  5. Relevant experiences (flexible, umbilical, subsea controls, and/or SPS) would be an advantage.
  6. Knowledge of industry codes (DNV, ISO, API, ASME, NORSOK, AISC).
  7. Knowledge of structural and piping software (ANSYS, SACS, Autopipe).
  8. Additional knowledge of Orcaflex and Abaqus would be an advantage.
  9. Ability to manage work and interfaces within a project structure and organization.
  10. Knowledge of subsea system architectures and sound understanding of production system development.
  11. Competency in design and analysis software is highly preferred.
  12. Good computer literacy with competence in MS office software.
  13. Good command of English language, both written and spoken.
  14. Good and effective communication skills.
