Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Process Specialist to oversee accounts payable operations in our Asia Pacific region.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in finance and accounting, with a proven track record of managing teams and implementing process improvements. In this role, you will work closely with our outsourced partner to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, manage credit risk, and optimize cash flow to support business objectives.

A key aspect of this role is your ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide guidance to internal stakeholders on financial processes and policies. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable operations.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently to solve customer and operational process issues. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 accounting software and ERP system is highly valued.

  • Manage accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, and vendor management.
  • Collaborate with the outsourced partner to ensure month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable functions are completed on time.
  • Coordinate with the outsourced partner to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable transactions and step in to process invoices as necessary.
  • Review AP Aging and ensure that outstanding invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner.
