About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Regional Security Manager to join our team in Medtronic plc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing physical security across the region, implementing corporate security programs, and working with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Program Management:

    The Regional Security Manager will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive security programs across the region, ensuring they align with corporate objectives and best practices.

  • Crisis Management:

    This role will also involve coordinating crisis management efforts across the region, providing guidance on emergency response procedures, and ensuring the readiness of sub-regional/country crisis management teams.

  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

    The Regional Security Manager will conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential threats and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the protection of Medtronic's assets and employees.

  • Travel Security:

    Additionally, this role will involve overseeing the travel security program in the region, managing high-risk travel support, and providing guidance on safety protocols for employees traveling abroad.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:

    A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as security management, law, or international relations, is required. A Master's degree is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in the security industry, preferably in an international corporate environment, is necessary.

  • Skills and Qualifications:

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively in cross-functional teams, and have a strong understanding of regional security threats. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required.
