About The Role

We're seeking a Portfolio Manager for FM Services to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing facilities management operations in Malaysia and China, as well as providing support for India, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead large projects and manage vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee all managed facilities contracts outside of integrated facilities management solutions.
  • Manage a team of 50+ vendor employees to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with senior site leaders and business teams.
  • Drive accountability for cost-effective and consistent quality facility services documented through service level agreements.
  • Deliver safe operations and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement policies and procedures related to facilities management, including use of amenities, occupancy, security, life safety, and operations.
  • Assure response to emergencies, support business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with senior site leaders on facilities strategies and tactical solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce service delivery costs and drive innovation.
  • Participate in supplier governance meetings and collaborate with global procurement to negotiate effective third-party agreements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and mentor to subordinates within the APAC facilities organization.
  • Contribute to the development of short-term and long-term facilities management strategy for the region.

About You

You have a strong background in facilities management, project coordination, and leadership. Your expertise includes financial and asset management, communication, process technology, lean activities, performance measurement, vendor administration, customer support, personnel administration, general administration, and other special projects.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:

  • A master's degree in a business-related field or a bachelor's degree with equivalent experience.
  • At least 8-10 years of relevant experience, with multiple countries/sub-region/region management experience preferred.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, with SAP and Coupa software expertise strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with facilities work, maintenance, logistics, and repair is desired.
  • Prior experience in project management and working with Kimberly-Clark is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is required, with Kluang or PJ office location preference.
