Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute strategic plans for data center construction that align with our business strategy and goals.
  2. Lead capacity planning efforts and establish technology roadmaps to meet future infrastructure demands.
  3. Oversee a portfolio of data center construction projects, including new builds, expansions, and renovations.
  4. Implement project management best practices and methodologies.
  5. Manage resources, including budgets, people, contractors, and equipment, to support data center construction projects.
  6. Provide technical oversight and guidance on data center facility designs.
  7. Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize project spending.
  8. Develop comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
  9. Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures.
  10. Select, negotiate with, and manage external vendors and contractors.
  11. Provide regular updates on project status and milestones.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced business degree such as an MBA is advantageous.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
  • Significant experience in project management methodologies, tools, and practices.
  • Significant experience managing data center construction projects.
  • Significant experience managing and leading data construction project resources.
