As a key member of our finance function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability through strategic financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Partner with our General Ledger team to identify and highlight gaps in accounting during month-end closing, providing variance analysis on operating expenses for monthly closing review.
  • Business Review Support: Assist in preparing the monthly Business Review presentation deck, providing operating expense highlights within the first week of month-end closing.
  • Capital Expenditure Management: Collaborate with capital expenditure requestors to understand their needs, validate data, and present justifications for capital expenditures. Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for all capital additions and disposals, and monitor capital expenditure spend budgets via our system's WBS functionality.
  • Marketing Spend Management: Work with our Commercial Finance and General Ledger teams to monitor marketing expenses to ensure they are within budget and obtain necessary approvals for budget shifts. Monitor marketing spend budgets via our system's WBS functionality.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead monthly operating expense reviews with respective budget owners, providing operating expense insights.
  • Cost Management: Drive ownership of costs through effective bottom-up budgeting and identify opportunities and risks during annual budget and monthly forecast submissions.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects and Reporting: Support other ad-hoc projects, reporting, and financial analysis as needed.
Requirements
  • A recognized degree in accountancy or equivalent with 3-4 years of relevant experience; FP&A experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and influencing skills to communicate effectively across all levels and work well across teams within the organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Reasonably acceptable skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Contract employment: Permanent.
