Job Description

The Industrial Relations Manager will oversee all Industrial Relations activities for 7-Eleven Malaysia, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

This role requires the ability to develop and manage a team of professionals to enforce industrial relations and OSHA policies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Team Management: Develop and manage the industrial relations team to ensure effective implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and review policies, procedures, and guidelines related to industrial relations and HR practices.
  • Dispute Resolution: Serve as the primary contact for dispute resolutions involving management, employees, and legal bodies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strong relationships with industry players, legal practitioners, and government agencies under the Human Resources Ministry.
  • Labor Laws and Grievances: Partner with stakeholders to provide value-added services and advisory on labor laws and grievance policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma in Law, Human Resource Management, Psychology, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of Industrial Relations experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Evidence of experience in developing IR and HR-related policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Malaysian Labor Laws, Industrial Relations Act, OSHA, and relevant statutory legislations.
