Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution: Assist the operation manager and project team in planning, engineering, and managing projects from start to finish.
  2. Solar Energy Systems Design and Installation: Design, build, and install solar energy systems, working closely with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.
  3. Team Management and Coordination: Onsite planning and managing of installation teams, liaising with vendors in the procurement of components, and working with the installer to complete and commission projects.
  4. Client Liaison and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and clients during the construction stage, ensuring smooth communication and project progress updates.
  5. Project Work Planning and Execution: Create and execute project work plans, revising them as necessary to meet changing needs and requirements, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  6. Hands-on Implementation and Quality Assurance: Implement projects on site, ensuring all required Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements are met, and preparing for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  7. Project Completion and Handover: Ensure the deadline is met and the project is completed smoothly, handing over the system to the client.
  8. Ad-hoc Duties and Support: Perform any additional duties as assigned by the operation manager or project team leader.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communicator who can work independently, is resourceful, and able to work under minimum supervision.
  2. Education and Experience: Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related fields, with 3-5 years of experience in solar PV, M&E, and Construction.
  3. Technical Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge in energy modelling software (PVsyst), AutoCAD, and construction modelling software, with experience in solar project execution being an advantage.
  4. Teamwork and Customer Orientation: A team player who is results and customer-oriented, independent, creative, and passionate about renewables.
  5. Transportation and Travel: Possesses own transport with a valid driving license and can travel to the project location.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Willingness to Station in Port Dickson: Willing to station in Port Dickson for the duration of the project.
