Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team at AIA Digital+. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our database infrastructure, ensuring data security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain efficient database solutions to support business operations.
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data availability and integrity.
  • Monitor database performance and apply performance tuning techniques to optimize system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate database solutions into application development projects.
  • Perform regular database maintenance, including updates, upgrades, and patching.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Document database administration processes and procedures.
Communication Requirements

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Actively communicate with project teams, including PM and architects in the project.
  • Periodically review meeting with management team on company architecture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a DBA in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems, such as Azure SQL, MS SQL Server.
  • Proven experience with database design and architecture.
  • Excellent understanding of database security best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
