About the Role
The Malaysia Sales Team at SAS is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to drive sales of our software products, solutions, and services in a high-volume environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling to current and prospective customers, working closely with other sales and pre-sales personnel to identify and capitalize on new opportunities.
You will:
- Sell software, solutions, and services to existing and potential customers; collaborate with internal teams to position and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain customers within assigned territories.
- Provide comprehensive information to potential customers, assessing the level of opportunity and required resources.
- Develop and implement territory and account management strategies; identify accounts with high potential, qualify leads, advance opportunities through milestone steps of the sales cycle, and forecast close dates within Orion.
- Create standard quotations and proposal documents as needed; work with internal departments to craft and finalize contracts and schedule delivery services.
- Follow up with customers to gauge satisfaction levels and explore additional revenue opportunities.
- Cultivate an understanding of our pricing, licensing procedures, and approval matrices.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our account planning process and tools (Account Plans and Opportunity Plans).
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
