The Role
We are seeking an experienced Marina Management Professional to join our team in Penang, Malaysia. As an integral part of our marina management team, you will be responsible for overseeing office administration, customer services, accounts inputs, and reports.
Main Responsibilities
- Office Administration: Oversee routine management tasks, input accounting data into the Timberline system, and collaborate with the Finance & Accounts team to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Customer Services: Respond promptly to customer enquiries via email, phone, and in-person, manage boat registration, and issue marina gate access cards.
- Accounts Inputs: Maintain and account for office petty cash, laundry funds, and other relevant finances as needed.
- Documentation: Create purchase orders and other necessary documentation for suppliers and ensure approvals are obtained as required.
- Reporting: Prepare monthly utility invoices for boaters and compile reports on marina operations.
Requirements
- A Diploma in Business Studies/ Administration or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years working experience in an office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as a part of a team. Proactive and positive attitude.
- Willingness to work on weekends.
