We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Payments Sales Professional in Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) and Fintech to join our team. As an Associate, you will play a crucial role in bolstering and facilitating business growth among NBFI & Fintech clients. Your responsibilities will include promoting and ensuring flawless implementation of the growth strategy (inbound/outbound) for ASEAN markets. You will be required to provide necessary support across various NBFI industry verticals, which will involve close collaboration with NBFI & Fintech Sales teams in other countries in the ASEAN and broader Asia Pacific region, and other regions.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting Sales in putting together comprehensive account plans, research materials, client analysis, and client proposals for identifying strategic opportunities. Also, assisting Sales in managing and keeping the client profile updated along with data analysis/statistics enabling business growth.
  • Driving projects/initiatives of strategic focus for Malaysia and other ASEAN markets, including but not limited to conducting research, preparing client presentations, and participating in end-to-end internal review and approval processes.
  • Establishing strong rapport with an extensive network of internal partners to provide connectivity across the firm and promote cross-regional collaboration.
  • Preparing for Global Account planning discussions and participating in internal planning and market review conversations, supporting sales with data to generate insights for both short and long-term business development and strategies.
  • Supporting Sales in client onboarding activities, including but not limited to client due diligence in accordance with J.P. Morgan's internal guidelines in Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Clients; onboarding approval process; timely updates of pricing & billing structures and efficient implementation process for new and existing clients.
  • Liaising closely with the Client Service & Implementation team in new account opening and product setups for new and existing clients to ensure accurate and timely implementation.
  • Handling new and updated pricing setup in a timely manner, and conducting post-setup checks to avoid client impact.
  • Managing the pipeline, maintaining accurate information, and facilitating Sales on required deal governance processes and proper documentation filing per internal guidelines.
  • Assisting Sales in promoting an effective operative risk environment, including but not limited to (1) accurate and timely new onboarding/renewals and completion of Know Your Clients and other internal reporting and/or approval requirements (2) managing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Request for Information database and status tracker (3) work with clients and internal teams on AML-related matters to smoothen compliance investigations and screening.
  • Assisting Sales to organize and coordinate client events (forums/roundtables) and communication to promote and strengthen J.P. Morgan's franchise. Coordinating client events hosted for NBFI clients including invitation delivery, event materials preparation such as presentation decks and content, marketing printouts, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong drive and rigor to ensure all facets of the business and portfolio succeed.
  • Excellent communication and analytic skills.
  • Strong team player who will work collaboratively with Global and Regional stakeholders within the firm including Global Corporate Bank, Securities Services, Markets, Investment Banking, Investor Client Management, and other Commercial and Investment Bank colleagues.
