If so, we want to hear from you As a key merchant growth lead at Grab, you will play a critical role in growing and managing the accounts of key merchants for GrabFood Malaysia.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mid-market key chain restaurants and increasing profitability and revenue. You will work closely with merchants to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions, and will also develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- You will analyze market trends and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- You will identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and develop solutions to address these issues.
- You will work across functions to tailor merchant-specific needs, such as customized reporting, marketing support, and integrations.
- You will drive growth of key accounts by analyzing data and developing initiatives to increase profitability and revenues aligned with country targets.
- You will evaluate strategic and partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses.
- You will collaborate with merchants and operations teams to drive operational excellence.
We are looking for individuals who have a strong understanding of sales, business development, and partnerships, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree in Business or Management or equivalent is required, along with 3 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or an equivalent role. Experience responding to prospect communications in English and Bahasa Malaysia is necessary, with additional language skills like Mandarin being a plus. Emotional ability and excellence in dealing with merchant representatives are also essential.
