We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at Malayan Flour Mills Berhad.

Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing support to the Accounts Payable team, ensuring the accurate and timely management of all Accounts Payable related transactions for our company. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative and organizational skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the Accounts Payable team in managing all approved suppliers' invoices.
  • Assisting in coordinating with statutory authorities to make timely payments.
  • Paying staff claims on time ensures reimbursement for all staff.
  • Detecting errors in creditor reconciliations for all suppliers.
  • Maintaining efficient cash flow position by reviewing banking matters.
  • Updating document checklist weekly to ensure submission of required documents.
  • Following up on documents from branches, depots, plants, farms, etc., before closing.
  • Compiling daily cash book from AP sections and emailing to Treasury for monitoring cash flow.
  • Maintaining effective communication between internal (AP & AR) and external parties for smooth operation.
  • Preparing data analysis for management decision-making (e.g., CN & DN analysis, review AP aging).
