About the Role

Agensi Pekerjaan Talent Recruit Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Head to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 professionals and reporting directly to the R2R-Treasury Director.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Treasury Management: Oversee treasury activities in Asia, Pacific, and Middle-East, ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures.
  2. Strategic Initiatives: Support the delivery of treasury strategy and contribute to business strategic initiatives.
  3. Team Guidance: Provide guidance to local finance teams on all matters related to treasury, ensuring alignment with group policies.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with functional teams to drive key treasury initiatives and cross-functional projects.
  5. Treasury Position Monitoring: Monitor and forecast short-term and mid-term treasury positions.
  6. IS Project Leadership: Lead IS projects to optimize cash management processes and tools.
  7. Financial Planning: Forecast and manage companies' short-term and mid-term Net Debt level.
  8. Financial Result Optimization: Forecast and optimize companies' financial results.
  9. Surplus Cash Management: Manage surplus cash through adequate placement strategies.
  10. Foreign Exchange Risk Management: Secure Foreign Exchange risk of the companies via analysis and forecast of forex exposure and implementation of FX hedging in line with Group policy.
  11. Counterparty Risk Management: Manage counterparty risk through bank guarantees, letter of credit, or other risk management tools.
  12. Group Financial Policies: Ensure application of the Group Financial policies.
  13. Bank Relationships: Manage bank relationships at the local level, ensuring proper allocation of treasury flows between core banks.
  14. Treasury Reporting: Ensure regular treasury reporting.
  15. Ad-Hoc Projects: Manage ad-hoc treasury projects.
Requirements
  1. Education: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related professional qualification.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 7 years related work experience.
  3. Language Skills: Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin (as needed to manage a team member in China).
  4. Technical Skills: Experience in Kyriba, CitiDirect, Bloomberg, SAP, and/or Magnitude will be a plus.
  5. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create and build a sustainable network at all levels internally and externally with all stakeholders.
  6. Personal Qualities: Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership, effective time management and planning skills, and strong team management skills.
