The position we are advertising for is a key role within our Enterprise Risk Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of Department in providing Enterprise Risk Management services with sound principles of Risk Governance to ensure proper operational risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing enterprise-wide integration of climate-related considerations in business operations, decision making, and risk management.
  • Implement and improve climate risk management practices aligned with BNM Climate Risk Management & Scenario Analysis (CRMSA) Implementation Plan.
  • Operationalize Company's key climate strategies.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues and stakeholders as required.
  • Facilitate climate risk classification for investment exposure aligned with BNM Climate Change Principle-based Taxonomy (CCPT).
  • Assess and review CCPT classification.
  • Prepare CCPT report for half-yearly BNM submission and Management reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree holder or professional qualification in Actuarial, Risk Management, or Environmental science or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 2 years working experience in risk management or audit-related fields with financial service industry.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Good report writing and presentation skills.
  • Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
  • Pro-active, assertive, and detailed/meticulous.
