Job Role

The Procurement Officer will play a key role in procuring top-notch products and services for YCH Sdn Bhd. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation skills and be able to establish strong relationships with suppliers.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet procurement objectives.
  • Sources goods and services from reputable suppliers to satisfy both short-term and long-term needs.
  • Implement a comprehensive supplier selection process to identify the most suitable partners.
  • Support users in understanding procurement procedures and assist in sourcing new items when necessary.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all purchase contracts, with periodic reviews.
  • Ensure the Approved Vendor Master List is updated promptly upon registration of new vendors.
  • Regularly engage with suppliers to discuss potential cost savings.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers regarding pricing and minimum order requirements based on product usage.
  • Organize and maintain accurate records of PR & PO, supplier quotations, and purchase orders.
  • Prepare a monthly Purchase Order Report highlighting procurement activities.
  • Manage all ISO-related documentation.
  • Closely work with senior team members to address quality concerns related to suppliers.
  • Carry out additional duties related to the position as directed by your manager.
