Job Overview


Versatile Creation Sdn Bhd seeks a seasoned Corporate Communication Manager to spearhead our corporate communications efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive communication strategies that effectively promote our brand, values, and mission.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans that align with business objectives and initiatives
  • Manage the creation of high-quality corporate communications materials, including press releases, speeches, annual reports, and internal communications
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets to secure positive coverage for the company
  • Coordinate crisis communication strategies to mitigate reputational risks and ensure effective issue management
  • Support the planning and execution of corporate events and stakeholder engagement initiatives
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels and develop communication guidelines for the organization
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and public perception of the company, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal departments to drive business objectives and initiatives through effective communication
  • Supervise and mentor junior communication staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; a Master's degree is an asset
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful communication strategies
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong media relations experience with established contacts in the media industry
  • Experience in crisis communication and reputational management
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in other languages is an asset


Estimated Salary: RM120,000 - RM180,000 per annum
