Job Overview:

Xepa SP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Innovation Manager to lead our Analytical Team in the development and validation of analytical methods, as well as the maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Method Development and Validation: Supervise and lead the development, validation, and analytical testing activities in the Analytical Team, ensuring that methods are developed and validated in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Laboratory Operations: Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory environment, ensuring that all equipment is calibrated and maintained in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Resource Planning: Plan and coordinate the resources required for method development and validation, as well as other analytical testing, to meet the timeline of New Product Development (NPD) and reformulation projects.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and oversee the Analytical Team, ensuring that all team members are trained and competent in their roles, and that the team is aligned with the company's strategies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with internal clients, including Innovation & Development, Product Pipeline, Technical Services, Regulatory Affairs, and QC Laboratory, to ensure that analytical method development and validation, stability study, and other analytical testing requirements are met.
  • Continuous Improvement: Ensure the continuous improvement of the Analytical Team and alignment of the team with the company's strategies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor Degree in Science, preferably chemistry related discipline or Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy with minimum five years of working experience as chemist in a pharmaceutical testing laboratory.
  • Skills and Experience: Good leadership and communication skills, with experience in method development and validation, laboratory operations, and team leadership.
  • Certifications: Membership of the Malaysian Institute of Chemist (IKM) or equivalent organization is preferred.
