Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This includes preparing full sets of accounts and monthly management reports, performing account reconciliations and explanations on financial information, and collaborating with other departmental teams to analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decision-making. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and systems, mentor and guide juniors for skills, knowledge, and development, and assist on ad-hoc assignments in relation to accounts as requested by direct supervisor or manager.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a degree in Accounting or a relevant finance-related field, and be a qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or CPA) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience. A strong understanding of financial accounting principles, standards, and best practices, as well as proficiency in the use of financial reporting and accounting software (UBS), is essential. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights, are also critical. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting are also required.
