Job Description

The Petroleum Process Expert will play a crucial role in the success of our process engineering team, providing deep technical insights into hydroprocessing and hydrocracking technologies.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of work experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industries, with a strong background in hydrotreating, hydroprocessing, and hydrocracking for downstream oil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve organization capability on hydroprocessing and hydrocracking by mentoring, reviewing technical work, and developing training programs.
  • Evaluate, develop, and deploy technologies within area of expertise to deliver value to the business.
  • Provide process engineering technical leadership and support to operating sites on unit operation, optimization, and troubleshooting during abnormal operations.
  • Function as process technology lead for capital project development from screening phase up to unit startup.
  • Support installation, commissioning, and startup of grassroot or revamped facilities.
  • Lead or provide guidance on process modeling development, sustainment, and development.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to develop, design, manufacture, test, and deploy technologies or equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Able to influence and promote change with no direct authority.
