We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in data governance and privacy to develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with our client's organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • **Develop and Implement Data Governance Framework**: Design, implement, and maintain a robust data governance framework that ensures the effective management of data across the organization.
  • **Establish Data Governance Policies and Procedures**: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
  • **Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams**: Work closely with IT teams, legal, audit, cybersecurity, and business units to define and document data governance and privacy requirements.
  • **Provide Training and Education**: Create and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance best practices and privacy regulations.
  • **Monitor and Assess Compliance**: Monitor and assess data governance and privacy compliance, ensuring the effectiveness of data protection controls to identify and mitigate risks.
  • **Stay Up-to-Date with Regulatory Requirements**: Stay informed on relevant data protection regulations, such as PDPA, and ensure organizational compliance.
  • **Subject Matter Expertise**: Provide guidance and support to business units on data governance and privacy issues.
  • **Technical Collaboration**: Partner with IT teams to ensure the implementation and maintenance of technical and security measures to protect data privacy.

**Requirements**

  • **Education**: Degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Data Management, or related disciplines.
  • **Experience**: Preferably 2 years of experience in advisory and implementation within Data Governance & Privacy, IT Strategy, Transformation, or Operations.
  • **Skills and Knowledge**:
    • Strong interest or experience in data governance, data privacy, and information security.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach and innovative thinking.
    • Familiarity with data management and privacy tools and technologies is an advantage.
