The Business Development Manager of General Trade coordinates and executes point of sales activities to achieve sales targets in Southern Region (Johor).
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate distributor teams and their activities at the point of sales to attain sales objectives.
- Foster incremental opportunities to enhance company sales through new distribution channels, shelf space, and second placement activities.
- Conduct market research within given outlets, collecting sales data, JDE insights, and competitor activities.
- Evaluate portfolio distribution in designated stores according to Master Stock List guidelines.
- Collaborate with distributor teams to ensure successful product launches and meet target distribution goals.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to planogram guidelines issued by central office, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain oversight on second placements to ensure they are executed as per plan.
- Verify correct implementation of products on secondary displays based on planograms and established guidelines.
Guarantee compliance with centrally agreed pricing and promotional plans.
Requirements:- Minimum 1 year of experience in FMCG.
- Background in General Trade.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Good command of English language; additional local dialects will be an asset.
- Desirable: familiarity with outlets in Johor Region.
