Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Manager to join our team at Alibaba Cloud.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our critical data center operations, asset and security operations, data center build-outs, and scaling. They will recommend and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and required SLAs.

  • Manage Alibaba Jakarta critical Data Center operations, Asset and Security operations, Data Center build-outs and scaling.
  • Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs.
  • Coordinate external vendors, ensure the resource's supply and delivery, match business's growth.
  • Responsibility for outsourcing and vendor management of colocation Data Centre services providers to meet or exceed contracted performance SLA's.
  • Knowledge of 24x7 onsite support procedure, continuous improvement of operational processes, procedures, methods, and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or computer science field. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in large global data center site operation, functional knowledge of data center mechanical, electrical, and controls systems, and deep knowledge of information technology infrastructure domains such as computer server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, technologies, and architectures.

  • Bachelor's degree in a business, engineering, or computer science
  • 5+ years experience in large global data center site operation
  • Functional knowledge of Data Center mechanical, electrical, and controls systems
  • Deep knowledge of information technology infrastructure domains such as computer server platforms, storage server platforms, server components, network devices, technologies and architectures, IT service delivery principles and best practices.
