Job Description

This role is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the shared services functions. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, or financial management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a similar environment.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and manage financial plans, analyze financial data, and prepare financial reports, ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes, and provide insights and recommendations to senior management regarding financial performance and resource allocation.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, establish and maintain financial controls and procedures, ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, policies, and financial reporting standards, and support internal audit processes.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow for businesses/clients' operations, optimize working capital and cash management, identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and efficiency improvements, monitor expenses, and recommend actions to reduce costs and improve profitability.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CIMA are preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: High level of attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills, ability to work independently and take initiative, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
