The Fulfilment Product Analytics Team is a dynamic group of professionals who drive product improvement through analytics and experimentation best practices. We launch numerous features, fine-tuning models, evaluating changes, and running experiments to deliver better outcomes for our customers and driver partners.

Role Overview

As a Senior Analytics Manager (Fulfilment), you will lead analytics teams working with Product, Business, Engineering, Design, and Data Science teams to understand data requirements, track key metrics, and provide data-driven insights. You will evaluate the feasibility of new business/product ideas and make appropriate recommendations.

Critical Tasks

  • Explore business/product opportunities, uncover insights, and identify areas for growth.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to design experiments that influence key product decisions.
  • Adapt in-production models for new markets to enhance product rollout.
  • Direct expert teams to launch products/services and broaden Grab's data capabilities for deeper insights.
  • Develop and test data-driven hypotheses to address key challenges.
  • Create mixed effect and causal inference models to understand interaction effects or suboptimal product configurations.
  • Establish and oversee anomaly detection systems to alert changes or anomalies in product or system metrics.
  • Develop analytics tools to help data teams and other disciplines with debugging, data summarization, and result analysis.
  • Support team members in their professional development, focusing on both technical and soft skills.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organisation, promoting the use of analytics in decision-making processes.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in analytics and data science.
  • Develop strategies for data collection, data governance, and data quality control.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 10 years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science role.
  • Expertise in maintaining high measurement standards, designing and analysing experiments, using SQL for data queries, and proficient in data visualisation tools like PowerBI.
  • Experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark and PySpark.
  • Foundation in statistics and practical experience with controlled experiments in the industry.
  • Experience influencing product decisions based on quantitative analysis.
  • Experience developing data strategies and policies.
  • Ability to explore new business/product opportunities and identify insights for growth.
  • Experience leading expert teams, supporting professional development, and fostering data-driven culture.
  • Ability to create anomaly detection systems to monitor product metrics.
  • Ability to build analytics tools for debugging, data summarization, and result analysis.
