The Role

We seek an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to join our Billing Operations Team. This role involves delivering accurate and timely billing processes, resolving technical issues, and contributing to process improvements, aligning with Finance group objectives, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide customers with accurate, timely, and complete bills covering a wide range of products and services.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of product and service billing, providing feedback and reports to stakeholders.
  • Monitor billing systems for accuracy, troubleshooting discrepancies.
  • Offer (internal and external) customer support, escalating in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Identify and recommend process enhancements, procedures, and tools.
  • Maintain operational and product knowledge to resolve customer inquiries and problems.
  • Lead reconciliation of bill runs and analysis for management.
  • Participate in billing-related projects, assisting with integration and maintenance of billing systems and software through user acceptance testing.
  • Maintain documentation related to billing processes.
  • Support adoption of new billing processes delivered through digital transformation programs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales, IT, Pricing, and Finance.
  • Coach junior team members.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Advanced data analysis skills.
  • ERP systems: Experience with SAP is required.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Requirements

A university degree in Finance and Economics or equivalent experience. A master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. At least 5-8 years of experience in a financial position, with 3 years in a financial audit firm being advantageous.
