The Role:

As a Front End Developer, you will assist the HOD of IT or team in project facilitation, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion. You will remain aligned with the company's strategy, commitments, and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop user-friendly web pages using markup languages like HTML.
  • Maintain high-quality source code, complying with coding standards, and troubleshooting.
  • Design mobile-based features and ensure graphic standards and brand consistency.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance.
  • Provide technical assistance during User Acceptance Test.
  • Get feedback from users and customers and build solutions.
  • Write functional requirement documents and guides.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
  • Convert normal HTML to reusable component libraries.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Have at least 10-20 years of experience as a Front-end Developer.
  • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
  • In-depth understanding of the web development process.
  • Provide suggestions on client change requests.
  • Flexibility to adjust task priorities for unforeseen changes.
  • Communicate well with different teams.
  • Hands-on experience with frontend technologies like ReactJS, Redux, Sass/SCSS, ES5/6, NodeJS.
  • Experience in solving problems like caching, pagination, and more.
  • Knowledgeable on web services and integrating APIs.
  • Knowledgeable on mobile responsive approach.
  • Familiar with Git Repository.
  • Required language(s): English, Malay, and Mandarin.

  • Fast learner.
  • Experience in leading/guiding junior(s).
  • Ability to convert normal HTML to separate components using frontend frameworks.
  • Experience in identifying and solving performance issues.
  • Understanding of metrics scores like First Contentful Paint, Time to Interactive, etc.
  • Self-motivated to complete targets/goals.
  • Willing to share knowledge with others.
  • Willing to learn knowledge and skills outside frontend developer job scope.
  • Knowledge on SEO.
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics.
