Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Legal Specialist to join our team at Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support to our business operations in Malaysia and will report to the head of our Chinese team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal and compliance support for various business forms, including contract drafting and review, research and collection of relevant laws and regulations, and follow-up on company establishment, consulting, and negotiations.
- Participate in business empowerment initiatives, such as developing SOPs related to our business and conducting legal training on contract signing and negotiations, handling theft cases and consumer complaints, etc.
- Perform legal compliance-related tasks assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law or above.
- Over 2 years of relevant legal work experience, with a preference for those who have worked in Chinese-funded companies.
- Passed the Malaysian legal qualification examination.
- Strong self-motivated learning consciousness and learning ability, with clear logical thinking and good communication and writing skills.
- Open-minded, reliable, and with a long-term career plan in legal work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Fluent in English and/or Mandarin (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing).
