Hunters International Sdn Bhd is a well-established multinational company with over 40 years of experience in industrial projects, specializing in mechanical and electrical systems for industrial projects. We are seeking an experienced project engineer to join our team in Penang/Kulim area.

Job Requirements:

  • Work with a project team to manage procurement, construction, commissioning, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Manage project execution at site for mechanical or electrical distribution systems, HVAC, cleanroom, process utility systems, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Coordinate with sub-contractors for site survey, space management, site activities, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Perform interim progress claims, monitor progress payments, and determine variation orders, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Attend site meetings, toolbox meetings, and design review meetings, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Update As-Built drawings and prepare handover documents, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Prepare Request for Information (RFI) on changes of specification, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.
  • Prepare technical presentations to clients, and ensure that works are executed in accordance with approved specifications, procedures, and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 2-4 years of relevant working experience for Project Engineer.
  • 5-6 years for Senior Project Engineer.
  • Preferably candidate with work experience in engineering or building and construction works.
  • Good knowledge in project management in industrial projects.
  • Good in English and Bahasa Malaysia both in writing and communication. Proficient in Mandarin/Chinese language would be an added advantage.
  • Computer literate and proficient in Ms. PowerPoint and Ms. Excel.
  • Willing to put in extra effort to meet deadlines.
