FastLaneRecruit, a leading recruitment agency, seeks an experienced Financial Operations Director to lead the finance team and oversee financial operations. This strategic role will report directly to the CEO and play a vital part in guiding the company's business goals through effective financial decision-making.

Job Summary
  • Leads and manages the Finance Team to achieve organizational objectives

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. They will be responsible for developing and implementing financial models to support business planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develops, monitors, and updates financial models to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with financial standards.
  • Budget Management: Oversees budgeting processes, analyzes variances, and recommends adjustments to align with business objectives.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manages cash flow, monitors accounts receivable, and accounts payable, and maintains optimal cash balances.
  • Compliance & Audit: Ensures compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards; coordinates internal and external audits.
  • Tax Management: Oversees tax compliance and planning and optimizes tax obligations in line with regulations.
  • Cost Control & Optimization: Identifies cost-saving opportunities and implements best practices to improve financial performance.
  • Risk Management: Assesses and manages financial risks, develops mitigation strategies, and advises on financial impacts.
  • Business Partnering: Works with department heads to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identifies and implements process improvements to streamline financial operations and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a financial management role, ideally with experience in multinational or high-growth companies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial modeling.
  • Capable of working under a fast-changing and intense environment.

The estimated salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
