About the Role

Talent Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for assisting in the procurement planning, vendor management, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Planning: Collaborate with departments to forecast demand and manage inventory levels, analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Vendor Management: Assist in evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance, maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers, monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
  • Contract Negotiation and Management: Support in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers, ensure contracts are in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Purchase Order Management: Oversee the creation and approval of purchase orders, monitor order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services, address and resolve any discrepancies related to orders, invoices, or deliveries.
  • Cost Control and Budget Management: Assist in tracking and managing procurement budgets, identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements, prepare reports on procurement activities, savings, and performance metrics.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements, support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing / Procurement from F&B industry or equivalent.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
