Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound shipment management from all service providers within the Asia Pacific Region
  • Organization and monitoring of inbound shipments, including road, air, sea, and CEP deliveries
  • Coordination with transport forwarders and notification of shipment arrivals
  • Tracking and tracing of inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Updating shipment details in the SAP system for accurate tracking
  • Complaint management and recording of transport complaints in the SAP system
  • Collaboration with interfaces, including carriers, shipping agencies, and warehouse providers
  • Monitoring incidental costs and submission of claims for insurance settlements
  • Optimization of logistics lead times for Asia Pacific inbound shipments
  • Supporting the definition of demands on the logistics network regarding capacity, response time, and transit times
Qualifications
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or comparable field
  • Alternatively, working experience in forwarding or shipping companies, logistics, SCM, or transport management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, SCM, or transport complaint handling
  • Good knowledge of transport processes and administration required
  • Proficiency in SAP modules SD & MM
  • Proficiency in MS-Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with databases (e.g., Access, SQL) is preferred
  • Fluent English language skills for business communication
