About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Material and Shipment Planner to join our team at Fong Yee Printers Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for managing the flow of materials from suppliers to production.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Order Processing: Review and process purchase orders and shipping documents in a timely manner to ensure smooth material delivery.
  • Cost Management: Identify and manage cost issues, developing strategies to minimize expenses and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure shipments arrive on time at ports, aligning with requested dates.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee material controlling, scheduling, production planning, and supply chain management, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed statistical reports on material waste classification and calculate waste costs, providing actionable insights to improve efficiency.
  • Supplier Relationships: Foster strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely deliveries and meeting demand requirements.
