About the Role

The Digital Media Manager is a key position within Businesslist's APAC region, responsible for driving the company's media strategy and delivering effective campaigns to contribute to the growth of the business. This role will lead a team of media experts and be accountable for managing a significant media budget across 12 markets in APAC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Strategy and Planning: Work closely with the Head of Digital for APAC to create and deliver a multi-channel digital media plan and strategy that achieves digital engagement and conversion goals for B2B and B2C audiences across 12 markets in APAC.
  • Media Budget Management: Own and manage a media budget of over 2 million GBP across 12 different markets in APAC, ensuring budget use is well-optimized towards business goals and ROI.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of media experts to manage existing media partners, including contracts and negotiation, and optimize them towards ROI.
  • Owned Media Channel Contribution: Align and contribute to the goal of driving owned media channel contribution by optimizing our recruitment and digital media spend.
  • Performance Insights and Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the digital engagement team to deliver performance insights and contribute ideas to ensure a consistent and best-in-class customer journey across our media channels and websites.
  • Media Agency Management: Establish a process with media agencies to manage the media planning and buying process for BAU and ad-hoc campaigns, including paid search, dynamic retargeting, and paid social.
  • AdTech Stack Integration: Work with media agency and global media manager to integrate any new AdTech stack and DMP.
  • Media Agency Partnerships: Facilitate the transition of media agency partners or agency/RFP review and align media strategy and best practices across global and APAC.
  • Test and Learn Plan: Ensure a robust test and learn plan to build a best-in-class media program where we constantly explore and trial new tactics.
  • 1st Party Data Utilization: Work with the CRM team to drive the use of 1st party data to run effective, targeted campaigns.
  • Insights and Consultation: Provide insights and consultation to marketing managers to shape audience-driven and data-driven marketing campaigns.
  • Media Channel Integration: Ensure smooth integration of any media channels with the digital engagement team.
  • Team Management: Manage direct reports responsible for digital media management for their markets and the client-paid advertising program.
  • Flexibility: Be open to working outside of usual working hours to accommodate different time zones and ensure timely responses to regional or global requests.
Requirements
  • Digital Savviness: A digitally savvy individual with a proven track record of success in digital and media planning.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; an additional language (Mandarin or Japanese) is a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in managing digital media campaigns (paid search, retargeting, and paid social) and budget.
  • Shared Services Experience: Ideally previous experience in Shared Services and collaborating with global and local teams remotely.
  • Project Management Skills: Superior project management skills and strategic thinking.
  • Google AdTech Stack Experience: Experience working with the Google AdTech stack and understanding of digital analytics, GA4, and PBI preferred.
  • Media Agency Experience: Experience working in a media agency or with a media agency.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and ability to provide strategic recommendations motivated by data.
  • International Experience: Experience working in an international multi-brand company with multiple stakeholders is advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Problem-solving capabilities and a positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Vendor Management Skills: Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
