Role Overview

A Strategic Procurement Manager at Valuable Recruitment will lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies to achieve cost savings, ensure supply chain efficiency, and maintain high-quality standards. This role involves identifying and managing relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing and Supply Chain Management: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, high-quality products, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance.
  • Inventory Management: Assess and optimize inventory levels to reduce holding costs, prevent obsolescence, and ensure efficient material flow.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with excess inventory, ensuring financial stability and minimizing potential losses.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong Experience in Sourcing: Proven experience in sourcing commodities, including semiconductors, interconnects, electromechanicals, and computer components.
  • Supply Chain Expertise: Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Contract Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation skills for managing supplier contracts, evaluating performance, and developing improvement plans.
  • Inventory Management: Ability to assess and optimize inventory levels, reducing holding costs and preventing obsolescence.
  • Risk Management: Experience in identifying and mitigating risks associated with excess inventory, ensuring financial stability and minimizing potential losses.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Ability to develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
