About the Job

This role is responsible for providing human resources support to our team in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment: Execute recruitment procedures, organisational development processes and exit duties for local workers.
  • Payroll Management: Calculate and manage monthly payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all human resources matters.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with the team to provide audit support for human resources matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to Malaysian employment laws and company policies.
  • Policy Development: Develop and refine company HR policies on a yearly basis.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve HR operational processes.
  • Office Administration: Assist with general office administration, including sourcing office assets and tools.
  • Site Visits: Travel to the Kelantan site as part of a team when required.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Requirements

We require an experienced professional with:

  • Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Psychology. Consideration will be given to Diploma holders with relevant skill training certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years experience in Human Resources.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
  • Laws and Regulations: Familiarity with the Malaysian Employment Act and related legislation is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English writing and computer literacy is highly valued.
  • Personality Traits: A strategic thinker, deadline-oriented and privacy-conscious personality.
