We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our HR team with 3 Managers as direct reports. The scope of responsibilities covers Compensation & Benefits, HRIS Management, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Labour Management, Training, Employer Branding, Employee Engagement, Mobility, Health & Safety, and General Administration.

The successful candidate will be part of the Local Management team that consists of C-Suite and Management Directors who actively discuss company plans and issues for the achievement of business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, such as local business partners, local authority, universities for talent pipeline, and Global Officers of the Company.
  • Participate in the Discipline Committee for a subsidiary company.

Requirements:

  • Degree with post-graduate qualifications in HR Management and Compensation & Benefits.
  • Excellent understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • 10-12 years of experience in human resources management in the region, including well-rounded experience in various HR disciplines, of which 5 years should be in a Head of Department position requiring the incumbent to develop the team in terms of HR development, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement.
  • Proven track record of collaborating with Senior Management teams in matrix-managed organizations.
  • Prior experience in retail.
  • Business partnering oriented with the ability to provide both strategic and tactical leadership in human resources.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with assertiveness and decisiveness, balanced with tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility.
  • Highly motivated and independent individual with strong tenacity and ability to multitask and problem-solve efficiently.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
