Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Arrangement & Shelving: Ensure all store shelves are stocked, organized, and properly labelled. Assist in the unloading of deliveries and arrange products in the storage area and on the sales floor. Rotate stock to ensure products are used or sold before their expiration dates. Ensure that the store's displays are visually appealing and well-maintained. Conduct regular checks of shelves and storage areas to ensure stock availability.
  • Customer Service: Provide assistance to customers by answering queries and guiding them to product locations. Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanor when interacting with customers. Assist in resolving basic customer complaints or direct them to the store supervisor for resolution.
  • Store Maintenance & Hygiene: Ensure the store is clean, including aisles, shelves, and product display areas. Regularly check for and remove any damaged or expired products from shelves. Assist in keeping the stockroom and store areas well-organized.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with store supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth store operations. Assist cashiers or other personnel as needed during peak hours or busy shifts.
Requirements:
  • No prior experience required, but experience in related fields (retail assistant, customer service etc.) is an added advantage
  • Strong communication skills, and comfortable interacting in both English
  • Basic understanding of store operations and product handling
  • A team player that is able to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments
  • Flexible with work schedules and willing to work shift-based hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Comfortable with a reasonable amount of physical labor (lifting and/or moving product, standing for extended periods, assist in the loading/unloading of stock)
Compensation:

Basic Salary RM 2,000.00 to RM 2,200.00 (based on experience)
