You will collaborate with the regional application team to develop complete scopes from initiation to onsite delivery of electrical systems related to diesel genset enclosures.
Your expertise will ensure that all electrical designs and installations comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Electrical Solution Engineering- Develop electrical design and installation solutions for data center projects in Malaysia.
- Collaborate with the regional application team to define technical scopes and review customer specifications.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Work closely with the regional team to define technical scope.
- Review and finalize C/D/E documents together with the regional application engineering team.
- Provide technical specifications and define the scope of supply for equipment.
- Coordinate with factory and local suppliers to harmonize the scope of supply.
- Define electrical systems requirements for walk-in genset enclosures suitable for project needs.
- Provide electrical/automation design and prepare drawings and documents for customer technical requirements.
- Calculate, verify, and select right equipment/suppliers.
- Use computerized engineering tools/database, technical library information, and factory standards for solution engineering work.

Qualifications and Skills:
- University / college studies in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in engineering genset enclosure solutions in the diesel engine/generator industry, min. 5 years.
- Solid understanding of automation system, electrical system, protection system of a diesel generator set.
- Demonstrating ability to conceptualize and execute complex electrical system designs and bring cost benefit to customers.
- Create and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system layouts.
- Good understanding of Asian cultures and business practices.
- Good team player with proactiveness, good communication skills, and positive attitude.
- Proficient in English and Malay language, both written and spoken.
