Job Overview

The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, managing export operations, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute and coordinate with service providers to obtain booking confirmations as per schedule and release bookings in a timely manner to forwarding agents or 3PLs.
  • Responsible for all outbound operation activities, including updating export orders with 3PLs, liaising with forwarding agents for empty container delivery, and coordinating with QA for stock releases.
  • Follow up closely with QA for stocks releasing and communicate with the warehouse on order fulfillment issues such as short shelf life, order changes, and work closely with the warehouse and forwarding agent to mitigate sales risk.
  • Coordinate with co-packers to ensure promo pack items/stocks are ready on time for export.
  • Investigate customer complaints with relevant parties.
  • Responsible for aging stocks reports.
  • Coordinate with warehouses for East Malaysia stocks reservation and arranging shipment plans accordingly.
  • Prepare Export Delivery Schedule Adherence (DSA) reports and arrange logistics monthly meetings.
Requirements for Success
  • Possess at least a SPM/STPM/Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics Management or minimum of 2-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a FMCG company.
  • Require skills: MS Office applications. Dagangnet/shipping portal net/shipment link system would be an added advantage.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work based on delivery schedules and urgent/adhoc demands.
  • Time management with a sense of urgency.
  • Proactive, flexible, willingness to learn, ability to work with all levels of staff and various functions.
  • Good planning and organizing skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, result-oriented.
