Job Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage vendor payment processes to ensure alignment with organizational policies, procedures, and financial regulations.
- Develop and execute payment plans according to established schedules, ensuring timely expense reimbursements in line with established protocols.
- Guarantee the accuracy of payment proposals, address discrepancies, and obtain necessary approvals to safeguard financial transactions.
- Maintain close collaboration with the Treasury department to confirm the availability of funds.
- Address disbursement-related issues promptly and provide clear explanations to stakeholders.
- Work closely with peers to resolve challenges and enhance team performance.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and deliver results-driven outcomes.
- Partner with the General Accounting team to ensure smooth execution of financial close procedures and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external auditing efforts and comply with all regulatory demands.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration with 5 years of experience in Disbursement or accounting roles in a multinational corporation or shared service center.
- In-depth knowledge of Purchase to Pay processes, covering requisitions, purchase orders, 2-3 way match, payment types and methods, vendor management requirements, VAT taxes, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge and experience of operating ERP Systems, especially SAP Module, and MS Office Tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience using the ServiceNow or ARIBA modules is desirable but not required.
- Practical experience in handling low-to-medium complexity tasks and participating in small to medium-size project initiatives.
- Lean/Six Sigma exposure or equivalent desired.
- Forward-thinking attitude and ability to learn new technologies and productivity tools.
- Proficient in English; multi-lingual skills may be beneficial for supporting certain regions.
- Possible requirement for extended working hours at critical times (e.g., month-end) and occasional work on public holidays on an exceptional basis.
- Rotational shift duty may be assigned according to business needs.
