About the Role:

As a Regional Sales Manager at AMETEK, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and developing new business opportunities within the market. This position requires a unique blend of technical and sales skills to effectively tailor our solutions to meet client needs while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Objectives:
    • Create and implement sales strategies aligned with overall business goals to achieve market share growth and maximize sales revenue and profitability.
  • Channel Partnerships:
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key regional channel partners in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Indonesia to support their performance improvement.
  • Customer Engagement:
    • Maintain sound relationships with key customer accounts and opinion leaders in the industry.
  • Project Management:
    • Develop a healthy project pipeline (sales funnel) and assist in local marketing strategy planning.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Participate in events, such as trade fairs and sales meetings.
    • Maintain good cooperation with the sales & support team.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Electronic or Communication.
  2. 2-3 years Sales experience in Instrumentation sales.
  3. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  4. Positive thinking, professional acting, diplomacy, and sensitivity.
  5. Enjoy working in an international team.
  6. Proactive and imaginative, initiative-taking.
  7. Flexible and keen to travel internationally.
  8. Adaptive and open to diverse cultures.
  9. English (fluent), Indonesian or other regional languages an advantage.
  10. Technical or scientific training or relevant job experience preferably in RF & EMC industries.
  11. Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word).
  12. Experience with CRM systems helpful.
