About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and dedication. As a Deputy Head of Primary, you will work closely with the Campus Principal and other members of the leadership team to develop and implement effective educational programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing the preschool and primary schools
  • Oversight of curriculum development and implementation
  • Promoting the improvement of teaching and learning
  • Supporting the school's strategic development and annual development plans
  • Collaborating with middle leaders to develop a professional culture among staff

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the wider school community by raising the school's profile and engaging with parents and stakeholders.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Qualified teacher status
  • Possess relevant bachelor's degree in education or a bachelor's degree with a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) or its equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years of successful leadership and management experience in a school
  • Successful teaching experience as indicated in relevant references
  • Involvement in school self-evaluation and development planning
  • Demonstrable experience of successful line management and staff development
  • Data analysis skills, and the ability to use data to set targets and identify weaknesses
  • Understanding of high-quality teaching based on evidence, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate a vision and inspire others
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
