Human Resources Strategist

As a Senior HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. This includes providing guidance and counsel to senior leadership on HR matters, ensuring HR initiatives are integrated into business plans.

Talent Acquisition and Management
  • Develop and implement talent management programs, including succession planning and performance management.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, selection, and onboarding.

You will also be responsible for promoting a positive work culture by fostering open communication, resolving employee concerns, and promoting diversity and inclusion. Additionally, you will drive employee engagement initiatives and create an environment where employees feel valued and motivated.

Training and Development
  • Identify training needs and develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Support career development and growth opportunities for employees.

Your expertise in HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations will be essential in ensuring compliance and policy implementation. You will also oversee payroll and related processes, as well as prepare annual budget for companywide manpower payroll costing, departmental expenses costing.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR manager in the retail industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence positive change.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speaker is required for reporting to China HQ.
