Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department, driving process improvements and ensuring efficient financial reporting.
  2. Prepare statutory reports, financial statements, budgets, and management accounts, providing timely and insightful commentary to the Management.
  3. Liaise with operational managers to produce monthly management accounts, highlighting variances and areas for improvement.
  4. Develop, document, and implement financial systems, controls, and processes that meet the required standards.
  5. Manage cash flow, tracking transactions and reviewing internal reports to ensure optimal financial performance.
  6. Monitor capital expenditure and return on investment, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic direction.
  7. Coordinate and ensure compliance with banks' financing requirements.
  8. Handle audit, treasury, banking, cash flow management, taxation, risk management, and administration matters.
  9. Establish a strong accounting and operational control environment, safeguarding assets and improving profitability.
  10. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive annual business plan, aligned with the company's and brand's strategic objectives.
The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced finance professional with:

  1. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy and/or professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW), preferably with MIA membership.
  2. At least 8 years of working experience in a related field, with experience in F&B being an advantage.
  3. Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  5. Able to work under tight schedules and adapt to a dynamic working environment.
