About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Prudential Hong Kong Limited. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and growing existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow FUM and expand our client base.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities from institutional and ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Communicate investment strategies to clients and prospects, and recommend investment solutions.
  • Maintain existing client relationships and look for ways to grow existing business.
  • Participate in the implementation of business and product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the team to prepare investment/marketing proposals, presentation slides, letters, and other business-related materials.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by management, including management reporting, risk reporting, and operations process-related meetings.
Requirements
  • Preferably a degree or equivalent in Business/Marketing/Economics/Finance.
  • Additional qualification in investment management will be an added advantage.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the capital market industry.
  • Preferably with experience in dealing with fund managers, institutional clients, and product managers.
  • Project management from planning through implementation is an added advantage.
Desirable Skills
  • Familiarity with financial and capital markets, with an understanding of investment products and concepts.
  • Proficiency and comfort with financial data, data analysis, and data visualization.
  • Reasonable analytical skill to develop effective and attractive presentation slides.
  • Excellent command of English and Malay in written and spoken form, with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • High flexibility, great attention to detail, good logical and critical thinking, a sharp and analytical mind.
  • Possess a proactive working attitude and sense of responsibility; willing to accept new challenges.
  • Apart from being independent, is a team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working across organizational structures.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (in particular Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
