We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive to join our team at Vaersa Group. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Team Leadership: Collaborate with the Team Leader to develop and implement internal audit plans, programs, and approaches that align with the company's strategic objectives.
- Conduct Internal Audit Reviews: Conduct thorough and objective reviews of internal controls to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop Internal Control Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of internal controls, including process flows, data analysis, and working papers, to support audit findings and recommendations.
- Provide Value-Adding Recommendations: Develop and present recommendations to management that enhance and improve internal controls and business operations, driving business growth and efficiency.
- Assist Team Leader in Deficiency Identification: Collaborate with the Team Leader to identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and provide advice on process improvements.
- Monitor Progress of Implementation: Track and monitor the progress of implementing audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective resolution of internal control issues.
- Prepare Deliverables: Develop and present audit reports and presentation materials to management and the audit committee, ensuring clear and concise communication of audit findings and recommendations.
- Undertake Advisory Work: Participate in various advisory projects, including enterprise risk advisory, internal control policy development, financial due diligence, and investigations services, to support the company's strategic objectives.
- Lead and Supervise the Audit Team: Lead and supervise the audit team to ensure that audit objectives are met, and auditing is carried out effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with professional standards.
- Ensure Engagement Timelines: Ensure that all engagement deliverables are completed within the agreed-upon timelines, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting stakeholder expectations.
